Agate is a type of Chalcedony with prominent bands, but sometimes, these colorful patterns are artificially enhanced to get a more marketable product. Dyed Agate is produced this way and comes in many bright and vivid colors that follow the natural pattern of the stone.
Dyed Agate is considered a grounding stone that has many different healing effects depending on the color of the stone. When used during meditation it may enhance spiritual awareness and stimulate psychic abilities. Along with that awareness comes self-truth and a building of self-esteem and confidence.
